These terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to online courses offered by Muskelklinikken AS (“Muskelklinikken”) (“The Courses”). The course is delivered through the app Thinkific, which can be downloaded from www.nihi.no. The course provides the opportunity to participate in physical sessions with instructor(s) from Muskelklinikken if you wish. Certain therapeutic techniques may be reserved for participants who have a degree in physiotherapy or equivalent. Muskelklinikken determines whether you have the necessary background to receive training in the individual technique. Further information about the content of the Course is available at www.nihi.no. You have the right to take an exam after completing the Course. The exam consists of a theoretical part and a practical part. Taking the exam requires that you have completed all modules of the online part of the Course. The practical part of the Course is carried out on a patient and consists of a thorough history, examination and treatment. After treatment, you must justify the treatment, etc.
The practical exam is carried out by 1 examiner who is an expert therapist. The examiner will decide whether you have passed the practical part of the exam. If you do not pass the exam, the course fee will cover a new exam. For further attempts, an additional fee of NOK 5,000 per attempt will be charged. If you meet the requirements to pass the exam (completed the course, passed the theory exam and practical exam), you will receive a diploma showing this, stating the title Certified Sports and Muscle Therapist. (The title is not protected.)
The Muscle Clinic by the examiners may stop the examination if they believe this is irresponsible.
When you purchase the Course, you accept these terms and conditions as well as the content of the Course as described on the Muscle Clinic website www.nihi.no (the “Course Description”). The terms, the Course Description together with your acceptance of these constitute the agreement between you and the Muscle Clinic (the “Agreement”).
By completing the registration, you confirm that you have read and understood the Agreement, are familiar with and accept the Course Fee, and that you accept these without reservation.
The course fee can be found on www.nihi.no and in the registration process. If there is a conflict between these, the course fee that appears during registration applies. Prices include VAT. The course fee is paid as part of the registration process. The course fee is due in full before you gain access to the Course through Thinkific.
Muskelklinikken or Muskelklinikken’s partners have all rights to all materials, information, course content, course descriptions, images, illustrations and videos, etc. (“Material”) that you are given access to when purchasing the Course, including trademarks, patents, copyrights.
You have a right to use the Material to complete the Course as it is laid out through the app for a period of 12 – twelve – months. The right is personal and applies only to you who are registered as a user. You do not have the right to let others use the course by giving them access to it, regardless of how this happens. After this time, the Course and its content will no longer be available. You may not copy, give others access to or use the Material in any other way. The right to use the Course applies to one named user who is stated when registering for the course.
The course is additional education and assumes that you have the necessary basic knowledge about the body, health, exercise, etc. to be able to provide sound advice and guidance to your customers/patients. When using the knowledge from the Course with customers/patients, you must inform them that they must consider seeking expert health care themselves if they have or are unsure whether the treatment or training program may pose health challenges. You are responsible for informing your customers about the risks associated with treatment and for obtaining the necessary knowledge about health problems your customers may have that may pose risks when using the Course Content in training or treating your customers or patients.
If you are going to use the Course for your own use and development, it is important that you take into account your own health condition and dietary needs. If you are unsure whether there are special considerations you should or must take, you are encouraged to seek out relevant healthcare professionals before starting the Course.
The Course and Thinkific make it possible for you to communicate with other users who allow this. You are responsible for the information you share through this feature. By entering into this Agreement, you consent to Muskelklinikken processing the data you share for the purpose of communicating with the users you choose to share information with.
Muskelklinikken bases the Courses on accepted professional knowledge and methods. Muskelklinikken does not, however, take responsibility for you benefiting from the Course, or that it provides additional revenue, etc. for you in the practice of your profession. You are responsible for having the prior knowledge and experience required for you to benefit from
Muskelklinikken is continuously working to improve the Courses we offer, and we welcome comments and requests. If you provide comments, Muskelklinikken has the right to use these for any purpose as long as it does not conflict with binding legislation.
Use of Muskelklinikken is free of charge and without time limit and includes all intellectual property rights, including use, resale, licensing, incorporation with other material.
Muskelklinikken strives to ensure that the Course is available at all times. However, it may happen that the Course or parts of it are temporarily unavailable due to technical maintenance, technical problems and the like. Such temporary unavailability does not entitle you to a price reduction or other compensation.
Muscle Clinic’s liability for errors or defects is limited to the consideration you have paid for the Course. The limitation of liability does not apply to the extent that Muscle Clinic has acted with gross negligence or intent.
You have the right to cancel the purchase of the Course within 14 days from the date this Agreement was entered into. The right of cancellation may be exercised without giving any reason. To exercise the right of cancellation, you must notify us of this through an unambiguous statement. Notification can be sent to Muscle Clinic by email to post@www.norwegian.institute. When notifying us, we recommend that you use the form for exercising the right of cancellation that you can find at www.nihi.no.
If you choose to begin the Course by logging in to the Course through Thinkific, you accept that from the moment you log in to the Course, you lose the right to cancel the purchase under the Norwegian Right of Cancellation Act.
Muskelklinikken is developing the Courses continuously, and new services may be subject to different or changed terms and conditions. You will be informed of such new or changed terms and conditions before you use them. By using such changed or new services, you accept these.

You can only purchase the Course if you are a permanent resident of Norway and are 18 years of age or older. If you do not meet the conditions, Muskelklinikken may refuse to allow you to take the exam.
The agreement and its conclusion are governed by Norwegian law. Muskelklinikken will attempt to resolve any disputes amicably. If this is not possible, legal action will be taken with Oslo District Court as the agreed venue.
